MGW 5100
Optibase’s flagship MGW 5100 is an integrated carrier grade TV streaming platform, designed to meet the IPTV challenge. From enterprise solutions to state-of-the-art, carrier-grade MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), the Optibase 5100 Media Gateway is at the forefront of video technology solutions for broadcast streaming. 

The modular, multi-service MGW 5100 encodes, transcodes, transmits and recasts a mix of MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), or WM9/VC1. MGW 5100 supports up to 110 concurrent encoded channels, of which 26 can be encoded or transcoded streams in a single 10RU platform. MGW 1100
The MGW 1100 is an integrated carrier grade, high availability, IPTV streaming platform that offers multi-channel and multi-format encoding, transcoding, transrating (rate shaping) and recasting of live video over any IP network. The MGW 1100 encodes MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) and Windows Media (VC1) technology. MGW 1100 is ideal for moderate-sized IPTV head-ends. It is also designed for high-end video surveillance for homeland security/defense, video contribution and hospitality solutions. MGW 1100 and MGW 5100 use the same set of video processing boards.

MGW 2000e
MGW 2000e is an MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 streaming platform for IP networks. It can receive up to six live analog or SDI signals, encode them in real-time to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 and stream them over an IP network in multicast or unicast mode. With MGW 2000e, organizations can utilize their IP networks for business TV, training, and corporate communications. 

Broadcasters can benefit from MGW 2000e’s IP-based video contribution capabilities. The MGW 2000e is also ideal for video surveillance solutions for homeland security/defense. A web based management application that supports the MGW 2000e and the MGW 200, controls all MGW platforms used throughout the network.

MGW 230
MGW 230 is a single-channel encoding, decoding and streaming platform for IP streaming applications such as video contribution, video monitoring, corporate communications, video server upload, and live or on-demand streaming in education, training and surveillance solutions. MGW 230 encodes a live analog or SDI signal to MPEG-2 or MPEG-1 and streams it, in real-time over an IP network in multicast or unicast mode. It supports both one and two-way communications. A web based management application that supports the MGW 230 and the MGW 2000e, controls all MGW platforms used throughout the network.

IP Decoders
Professional grade receivers/decoders provide high-quality MPEG-2 4:2:0 MP@ML decoding, complementing Optibase’s streaming gateways to form an end-to-end IP based video contribution solutions.

Cluster Manager
A complete and powerful management solution for the entire Optibase IPTV product line, the Cluster Manager enables intuitive, simple management of multiple platforms and hundreds of channels from one centralized application.

It is a based on a multi-client-server architecture that affords control over clusters of Optibase media gateways (MGW 5100 & 1100) and other complementary video equipment such as video switches from a single management unit. The solution is a sophisticated, yet simple-to-use pure JAVA, cross-platform management system. MovieMaker HD
The MovieMaker HD family is an MPEG-2 High Definition PCI encoder that is ideal for content creation, ingest, broadcasting, and video-on-demand applications. MovieMaker HD offers 1080i and 720p HD as well as SD resolutions and supports both 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 encoding, up to 4 AES-EBU stereo pairs, Dolby Digital stereo and Dolby 5.1 pass through. MPEG MovieMaker 230
The M>PEG MovieMaker 230 is the latest addition to Optibase’s line of professional MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 half-size PCI encoders. It is ideal for content creation, broadcasting, and video-on-demand applications. The MPEG MovieMaker 230 supports input from live feeds, files or tapes, and supports SDI, YUV and S-Video inputs. MPEG MovieMaker 230 offers 2 stereo channel pairs through embedded SDI, digital or analog inputs. It also supports Dolby Digital stereo. MPEG MovieMaker 230 is fully integrated with Optibase’s developer tools, video streaming and networking platforms.

MPEG MovieMaker 400
MPEG MovieMaker 400 is a high quality MPEG-4 encoder for applications such as archiving, monitoring, news gathering, training and surveillance. MPEG MovieMaker 400 compresses two separate audio/visual inputs at up to Full D1 (4-CIF) resolution. It is a low-profile, small-form-factor PCI board, which can be integrated into any off-the-shelf PC. Both Windows and Linux SDKs are available. The Optibase Player 400 complements the MPEG MovieMaker 400 to form an end-to-end low latency streaming and playback solution. MPEG MovieMaker 400 is a compatible with industry-leading video servers and players.

MPEG Master
MPEG Master is a professional half-sized PCI MPEG-2 and MPEG-1 encoder for DVD, SVCD and VCD content creation on the Macintosh. When combined with Apple’s DVD Studio Pro, MPEG Master forms a highly efficient and streamlined DVD encoding and authoring environment that eliminates the need for lengthy video capture and CPU - intensive software encoding.

VideoPlex XPress
VideoPlex XPress is a high quality half-sized PCI MPEG-2 SD decoder designed to enable playback on RGB and composite monitors. Targeted at large-scale video networking applications, VideoPlex Xpress offers high-quality, cost-effective hardware acceleration.

VideoPlex HD
VideoPlex HD is a family of 3/4 sized PCI HD MPEG-2 decoders for playing back high definition video streams. It is ideal for high-quality professional broadcasting and digital video applications such as advertising, post production, Point of Sale (POS), digital cinema, and high-resolution presentations.
